Potted Rose Sale Questions & Answers

Our 2022 Potted Rose season is here and our inbox is filled with questions from excited rose gardeners! Read below for all the details on our potted roses.

When will the 2022 Menagerie Potted Rose Collection go on sale?

Potted roses are available for purchase on our website NOW! We will continue to add inventory weekly as roses leaf out, bloom and are ready for purchase.

If a variety says “Out of Stock,” what does that mean?

Varieties marked “OUT OF STOCK" on this page of our website are currently out of stock. We update inventory weekly and additional stock may be added. We recommend using the back-in-stock email notification feature on each product page so you are the first to be notified when a product is back in stock.

What potted rose varieties are available for purchase?

Our Potted Rose Collection can be viewed on our website. This is a great resource for creating your wish list for our upcoming sale. Potted roses will be added to our inventory weekly as they are ready for the season, with additional re-stocks made throughout the season as inventory is available.

If you do not find the variety you are looking for listed on our website, it will not be available in our 2022 Potted Rose Collection. To reference photos and descriptions of potted roses purchased in previous years’ collections that are no longer available, please visit our Archived Roses page.

Some roses will have quantity restrictions so we can insure more people are able to purchase popular varieties. Any rose with a quantity restriction will be listed on the individual rose’s product page.

We recommend joining our mailing list to receive updates on all things potted roses, including what varieties are in our 2022 Potted Rose Collection as well as when they will be available for purchase.

Do you have wholesale pricing for your potted roses?

We do not offer wholesale pricing for our potted roses or volume discounts on purchasing.

How do I create a wishlist?

To add products to your wishlist, click the blue "Add to Wishlist" button on the desired product page. View your wishlist by clicking on the "Wishlist" tab on the right side of your screen.

Will items in my cart be held for me?
Products are removed from our inventory as purchases are completed, not as they are added to your shopping cart. We recommend having your wish list ready so that you are able to check out as quickly as possible.

How do I redeem a gift card?

Gift card recipients can enter their unique code received by email on the Order Summary page at checkout and click “Apply” to subtract the gift card value from your order total. We WILL NOT be able to apply gift card codes retroactively after you submit your order. Please make sure to enter your code at checkout if you have one.

Are potted roses available for shipping?

We do not ship our five gallon potted roses. They are available for pick-up from our farm nursery by appointment only. There is a $3 processing fee for pick-up orders.

Where is your farm & nursery located?

Our farm & plant nursery is located in Live Oak, in the beautiful Sacramento Valley of Northern California (95953). We're nestled at the base of the smallest mountain range in the world, the Sutter Buttes. The exact address will be provided after you book your pick-up appointment.

When can I pick up my order at the farm?

We have appointment times available Wednesday-Friday and select Saturdays so we recommend ordering early to ensure we have a date and time that works for your schedule.

All nursery orders MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 10 DAYS of your original order pick-up date. If your order is not picked up within 10 days, it will be refunded and your items returned to our inventory. You are welcome to re-purchase them again (if available) and schedule a new pick-up appointment.

How do I schedule a pick-up appointment for my order?

After you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email with a LINK to schedule your pick-up appointment online and pick-up instructions. If you do not see a date or appointment time listed, we no longer have time slots available.

We have a select number of appointment times available on each day so we recommend making an appointment immediately after you make your purchase to ensure we have a date and time that works for your schedule.

I’m new to rose growing. What varieties do you recommend?

Due to the large volume of questions we receive in our inbox, we are unable to make personalized recommendations for each customer. However, on each potted rose product page, you will find helpful information for choosing varieties for your garden, including suitable zones, colors, fragrance, height, spread, and breeder. Our collection is carefully selected by Felicia so any rose in the collection you’re sure to love.

If you would like more information on growing, tips, and tricks, we highly recommend joining The Menagerie Academy, our online learning community. Felicia answers member questions about roses each week.

We also host workshops at the farm which include educational training and tours of the farm. You can view all of our seasonal workshops & events and purchase tickets on our website.

If you’re interested in a more personalized education and recommendations you can schedule a virtual or on-farm 1:1 Coaching Session/Tour with Felicia. To learn more and book your session click here.

We invite you to follow along our farm journey on Instagram (@menagerieflower) and Facebook where we post information about our varieties and helpful tips about our roses, flowers, fruits and farm products. Felicia’s weekly Instagram series, Farm Tour Friday, is also a great source for growing info where she answers questions about growing roses. You can view past episodes on video tab from our Instagram profile page.
