Each week we fill all of our wholesale orders for the SF Flower Mart and when we have extra bunches we’ll make them available here on our website for our weekly flash sale. Our flash collection is available in 11 color family selections OR single variety selections with 50 stems of roses (five 10 stem bunches). Varieties may vary in the color family bunches but that’s part of the fun of receiving a grower’s bunch made just for you! These are the same bunches and color families our floral designers shop from every week. We pick only the freshest stems possible to send you and we promise whatever assortment you receive in your color family selection they will be beautiful.
The Flash Garden Rose Collection includes: 50 stems of farm fresh garden roses (five 10 stem bunches), choose from 11 grower’s choice color families or single variety bunches, wrapped in butcher paper & string just like a flower market packed with ice packs to insure they arrive fresh after their journey
We want your flowers to have the maximum bloom life so they will arrive in tight to bud form. With a quick trim and arranging within a few short hours your blooms will start to open.
They may be slightly limp upon arrival and that's perfectly normal. They will perk right up when placed in water. It is best to allow them to hydrate for at least 4 hours prior to designing with them. They may have slight browning or discoloration on the outer petals and this is perfectly normal as well. These are called the “guard petals” and are left on the rose intentionally to protect the other interior delicate petals in transit.
Our Weekly Flash Sale flower boxes ship Fedex the same or next day after purchase. Since this is our flash sale and a perishable commodity, we are not able to accommodate alternative future shipping dates, substitutions or special requests. So please don’t place an order if you will not be able to receive or pick-up your flowers THE SAME WEEK your order is placed as there are no refunds once your order is submitted. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Our field grown garden roses have glorious fragrance and unmatched beauty however they are not like imported greenhouse grown chemically treated roses with a long shelf life. The beauty and delicacy of our roses is meant to be enjoyed for 3-5 days with proper care.
We are not responsible for the following:
Errors on the part of the shipping company.
Damage to the shipment, including heat damage, once the delivery company takes possession of the packages.
Incorrect or undeliverable addresses and/or recipients.
Shipments which are undeliverable on the first attempt by the shipping company.
Deliveries made to unoccupied addresses which are left outside at the discretion of the delivery driver.
Delays caused by weather, mechanical failure or other acts beyond our control.

Have your purchase shipped to yourself or ship to the gift recipient. If you are purchasing as a gift please enter the recipient’s address in the ‘ship to’ section at checkout. You will also have a space to write a gift message at checkout and we will include a handwritten gift card. Purchase prices are not included on the packaging slip that accompanies your gift.

NURSERY PICK-UP: Our farm nursery is located in Live Oak, California (95953). We are not open to the general public with regular retail shopping hours. We offer pick-up for orders placed on our website by appointment only. We have appointment times available Wednesday-Saturday. To pick up from the farm, first place an order online and select “Farm Nursery Pick-Up” at checkout.
After you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email with a LINK to schedule your pick-up appointment online. Nursery address is provided after your appointment is made. Should you not be able to pick up your order on one of our nursery pick-up dates, we can ship your order to you for an additional shipping fee.
All fresh flower orders MUST BE PICKED UP ON YOUR APPOINTMENT DATE. Due to the perishable nature of cut flowers, if your order is not picked up on the appointent date there will be no refunds.
Open your box as soon as you receive it. Flowers don’t like to be cooped up in a box. They need to be free!
Remove the biodegradable moisture wrap & bag around the base of the bouquet.
They may be slightly limp upon arrival and that's perfectly normal. They will perk right up when placed in water. Hydration can take up to 4 hours.
Choose the right vase. My rule of thumb is one that covers at least half the height of the stems.
Give your vase a good scrub with soap and hot water or diluted bleach (ratio of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water) to make sure no bacteria is hanging out to kill their buzz.
Fill your vase three-quarters of the way full and dissolve contents of the enclosed flower food packet following the directions on the packet.
Remove the outer layer of petals from each rose and discard. They may have slight browning or discoloration on arrival and this is perfectly normal. These are called the “guard petals” and are left on the rose intentionally to protect the other interior delicate petals in transit.
Recut the bottom of each stem removing at least 1/2” to your desired height. I love to stagger the height of our stems to give our arrangements a more casual and full look. So cut some a little shorter and leave some a little longer.
Be sure there is no foliage below the water line. This can cause bacteria to form in the water and will shorten the vase life of your roses.
The flowers will take up a lot of water in the first couple of days. Check the water level daily and add water as needed. Replace water every 2–3 days.
Remove older flowers as they fade.
Keep your flowers away from direct sun, drafts, and sources of heat and they’ll last longer. Or throw caution to the wind and leave them where you love them!
